In addition to my family, friends, and our golden Junebug, I am most passionate in life about learning. While there are numerous topics I love to explore, one of my favorites is food! I find it fascinating to learn about the culture and traditions of a community that shapes the way they eat, drink, and celebrate.

For fun, I like to spend countless hours in my kitchen or under the hood of my smoker developing recipes to share with all the important people in my life. I also love to keep up with the sports teams from my hometown of Kansas City, MO. (Go Chiefs!), backcountry ski, mountain bike, surf, and most of all toss the frisbee at the beach with my right-hand Junebug!

Before starting with August Roofing & Solar, I served for over a decade as a first responder and project manager for our nation on the front lines of western wildfires. My time as a firefighter taught me so many valuable lessons including the importance of organization, coordination, and how to rely on each position within a team to accomplish a common goal. While I truly loved to serve my community and country, I made the tough decision to switch career fields to have more time to spend with my family and the kids we one day hope to have.

My favorite part of working for August Roofing & Solar is the attention to detail and sense of purpose everyone brings to their position. I enjoy working with a diverse group of individuals who care and strive to better both themselves and the company, having a clear understanding of our values and mission, and most importantly, working with people humble enough to review and learn from our mistakes and shortcomings.
